Other areas covered are: what to do in case of a fire or chemical spill, fire extinguisher operation, safety around radiation sources, personal protective equipment and good work practices.

- Detail safety concerns associated with the proper use of tools, ladders, and energy sources.
- Describe the types of information that can be obtained from Material Safety Data Sheets
