The applicable sections of the regulations and important definitions are provided. The nine steps necessary for compliance with the hazardous materials regulations are discussed, including an overview of the Hazardous Materials Table, how to properly classify a material, and how to assign a proper shipping name. In addition, the training requirements and special requirements such as security are discussed.
