Summary:

This course covers the use of bulk insertion and update tools including both command-line and graphical user interface tools, such as the Data Transformation Services (DTS) utility. Additional topics include SQL Server 2000 security modes, connection authentication, access authorization, and the assignment and revocation of permissions on a user and role basis. Methods employing the SQL Server Enterprise Manager, as well as command-line options for use within the SQL Query Analyzer, are emphasized.
