This course examines how to use a GUI HTML editor to create Web pages. It also examines how to extend the capabilities of HTML by using Cascading Style Sheets, the Document Object Model, XHTML and XML.
Objectives:
- Identify and explain the features of a GUI HTML editor, and create a Web page using one
- Describe the effects of Cascading Style Sheets on Web page design
- Identify and describe the purpose and uses of JavaScript, Dynamic HTML (DHTML), Extensible HTML (XHTML), and Extensible Markup Language (XML)
- Explain the function of the Document Object Model (DOM)
